It’s Week 12, and if the games earlier in the week are any indication of what we can expect on Saturday, it’ll be a blast. We’ve got a top-10 showdown with No. 7 Michigan State at No. 4 Ohio State, No. 21 Arkansas facing No. 2 Alabama later in the day, and No. 3 Oregon facing a difficult test in No. 23 Utah.

The Big Ten has become rather predictable in terms of producing a plethora of high-quality teams each year, with Ohio State usually coming out on top. The Buckeyes have won 28 consecutive conference games dating back to a setback at Purdue in 2018, and they’re 19-point favorites to make it 29 against a top-10 opponent in Michigan State. Despite stiff competition between now and then, ESPN’s FPI gives them a 49 percent probability of capturing their fifth consecutive Big Ten championship in the coming weeks.
Of course, a coin flip isn’t a certainty, and 49 percent isn’t one of them. They have a lot of work ahead of them. Bill Connelly’s Week 12 preview (ESPN+) has further information.
